It is at trust me bro accuracy.

Basically it listens to audio and determines when you start to dream (you make noise/talk), when you move, you are probably making less noise aka light sleep, and no noise, well deep sleep..

But I can say that, Sleep Cycle definitely helped me wake up better, I set timer at 7 am, if I start to move a lot or make a lot of noise, let’s say 6:35 am, the alarm will sound before I go back to deep sleep again, it’s 30m before and until the time you set the timer on, it’s better to wake up in light/rem instead of sleeping extra 30m.

There are more accurate options such as Samsung rings, which checks of oxygen levels and ppm, otherwise you could go for higher medical equipment/watches (check labels and certificates).

The highest accuracy I did was Lofta WatchPat, a sleep study, costs 150$, one time use, but it’s 90% accurate, you can go higher accuracy but that would costs you thousands.

From that device, it seems like I have a mild sleep apnea, which I will investigate more soon..

So turns out, my phone updated.

When I press volume down when alarm is on, it is supposed to do snooze.

Nope, this update made it actually lower the volume, making me not hear the next alarms, amazing, someone should be fired..
