Steps to reproduce the bug:
- Step 1 - Put an item e.g. dirt at off-hand slot.
- Step 2 - Join pb without clearing inventory.
- Step 3 - Disconnect after the game starts.
Expected results: Dirt at off-hand slot will be gone.
Actual results: Dirt gone.

Additional notes:
Lost my mending riptide mines collectible trident due to this bug on 13 Nov 2021 around 1600 hours server time because I was kicked midgame.
Tested this bug twice on 14 Nov 2021 around 0500 hours server time, it worked.
