Democratic Republic of New Baclava - Elections
As many of you know, Baclava’s communist regime has fallen after endless protest and after the great revolution which brought life to democracy in Baclava’s territory, having New Baclava be born. As such, and given it’s now a democratic state, it will host its first elections ever, which will reward the elections winner with 150k.
Conditions to be a candidate
- Must accept the fact that if they win, they will have to be in New Baclava, as officer (despite being the president of New Baclava but for legal reasons leadership won’t be given since it’s a staff faction) for at least 6 months or until V3 launches;
- Must abide by New Baclava’s new constitution, which includes but is not limited to: Disability of editing terrain without prior authorisation of mine (once again for legal reasons and that’s outside the lore); Any blocks broken will be trashed and not kept, or it’ll lead to a permanent ban due to exploit of creative items; Never changing New Baclava’s regime to a dictatorship or anything that violates its current democratic regime, and keeping itself neutral no matter what (wars towards it will be ignored).
How to win
- You’ll campaign as if these were actual elections. You can invest in your campaign and spread all the propaganda you may want to convince any MythicMC player to vote for you.
- The vote will happen here, in this forums post, in a poll. Any fake forums accounts will be banned and if traced the person will be banned too. All forums accounts will be verified and voters may be contacted if necessary.
- If you find it to help you, you may add government members which will be added to the faction’s membership and receive 15k each if you win your elections. They’ll be in your political party and can be ministers assigned to any ministry you want. The conditions are the same for them.
Why should I sign up?
- You’ll get 150k if you win, and more in the prize pool if people decide to donate. I will allow candidates to pay 50k (which will go straight to the prize pool) to post a campaign message in this topic;
- You get to be the President of New Baclava, like seriously, who wouldn’t want that;
- You have (limited) power over the land and may adjust it slightly if it aligns with New Baclava’s political principles.
Alright, how do I become a candidate?
Message me on discord (hotlava.) to apply, with the following information:
- Your in-game name;
- Where you are in the political spectrum, making sure you’re not too extreme on the authoritarian ends to not make this a dictatorship;
- The name of your party (by order of candidate acceptance, if a party name is duplicated, you’ll be asked to get a new one).
Note: If you win these elections and break the conditions, your money will be forcedly charged back and new elections will be hosted.
