Reason (explain in detail): The old Mojang account was registered under IncognitoBaddles. After I link Microsoft account, I somehow cannot use the name IncognitoBaddles. I have to go with the new name.
weird as it seems you ended up with a MC account tied to a MS account but it’s not the one with your original name somehow as your original name was taken in 2016 and hasn’t changed yet… if the account wasn’t migrated it should have been deleted by now ,_,

Name changed, you should be able to login with your password from before, if you don’t remember it open a password reset request
