Apology: Dear to all server staff. First, I would like to apologize to the staff especially or those who were harmed because I cheated on this server. In this case I admit to using auto fishing,

This auto fishing idea occurred when I was bored with my fishing method, namely the split mode feature on windows, this previous method I used by utilizing the sound of fishing particles from minecraft while watching movies / youtube. However, the longer this method went on, I was at a point where I felt bored with this method, then the idea to use auto fishing came up.

I truly regret what I have done. With all my respect, I apologize once again for this cheating to all staff and players, I promise not to repeat the stupid things I have done, I have also re-read the rules on this server again and I accept the policies all team staff have given, but I really hope more to be given the opportunity to play again.

Alright. I appreciate you admitting that you were autofishing, and writing this appeal. I do have suspicions about how legitimate it is, considering how long you’ve been around, you would have surely been aware this is an unfair advantage and is strictly against the rules. Makes me somewhat question that you’re only sorry you got caught.

Regardless, I’d like to ask you a few questions before I can proceed with making a decision.

First, when did you start autofishing, and for how long/often?
Second, as best as you can remember, who has, or at some point had access to your autofished items and personal storages for example?
And third, is there anyone else involved? Anyone that has helped you with autofishing, whether it is that they autofished too, or have profited from you doing it.

Do note that I already have an answer for these questions. But I want to hear them from you, so please be honest.

I will likely have more questions soon as I dig through your situation, but answering these will massively help your case.

The curiosity when using this autofishing started on 13-Nov-2024, where? the last place you met me, I got this date from my search browser

I open Minecraft on a busy work day for 3-4 hours, I believe it’s after work Monday-Saturday (and I don’t do full fishing while online, I help to build buildings or look for materials).

For weekends I’m almost always online but not fully fishing, to estimate it’s only 2-3h full autofishing.

In the above case I’m not completely AFK I’m always monitoring in front of my monitor while playing other games, and when my friend approaches I’ll pretend to be active about it, but when the staff comes I panic and end up forcing the game out.

The worst thing is that I did it while sleeping “twice” when I got home from work on Saturday midnight and checked back on Sunday morning, that’s about 5 hours full of auto fishing.

I never lock my chest when I’m fishing in my spot, because when I lock the chest, the fish that fall in will never be able to get into the chest because it’s locked. For storage, I do it privately and even lock them with my private sign. I’m pretty sure there are no autofish chests that I lock together with other players except for other items that are locked together with other players which are blocks for builds.

Almost all the chests containing ebooks that are in the villager farm (prison castle) are the result of my bad actions, if any of my friends take the chest, they always ask permission to ask me first, and I allow it, I remember the ebooks taken in the form of efficiency and unbreaking to make pickaxes.

No one else is involved or uses autofish besides me, my friends know that I do it manually with the method that I have used for a long time.

Just like other players or staff, my friends really regret what I have done.

You mentioned starting to autofish on November of last year. There’s one thing that’s missing however.

I have found evidence of you using the same autofishing on the 26th of June in 2022, and possibly a few other times too, in a different spot in your faction. But due to some unfortunate events at the time, you ended up getting away with it without questioning or a ban. Does this ring a bell?

I’ll understand if you don’t remember as it has been a very long time, but this does make me worry that you’ve been autofishing for a lot longer than this, even if we consider your other, more legitimate method.

I was surprised that I was autofishing on that date. As I recall, I really liked to do fishing instead of mining or something like that because at that time there was still a /fi plugin which is had lvl to increase the enthusiasm for fishing and also because the items obtained such as ebooks were very useful for tools and could be traded. So that activity became a habit to do it on the server until the last time I was banned. With full awareness I really didn’t remember to do autofishing at that time.

If you’re talking about the hopper I made, I made it because I was kinda lazy to clean up my inventory when I was doing faction building and while waiting for rain to fish, the most effective/best move was to make the hopper to get my fish into the chest without messing up my inventory.

I see. A lot of enthusiasm for fishing, and the hopper tech is interesting. I’m not quite sure I believe all of it, but I’ll take your word for it, because that’s all I can do for now.

You autofishing that long ago has definitely happened. And either you genuinely don’t remember it, or maybe that was your cousin who you were supposedly sharing accounts with? Or was that also you pretending to Electrickery? Regardless, what’s done is done.

I will allow you back into the server. But as it goes, I’ll have to wipe your items. This includes your inventory, echest, /chest, and the most obvious fishing spots you’ve used. Call it a reset. Your balance will not be affected however.

I hope and expect to see better from you from now on. Let’s keep it fair for everyone, shall we?
