Does anyone think that adding male version of maternity leave would increase the population as offices have no way to discriminate against married female worker anymore?
I even support universal “birth leave” that is mandatory to every worker so no more differences between married and unmarried couples thus more time to let biology work as nature intended.

It already exists in some companies and countries, it’s called paternity leave… However, many things have contributed to reduced birthrate and more leave time is not going to increase the birthrate very much if at all when there are larger reasons why its gone down…
In general, the higher the standard of living the lower the birthrate. Not to mention the current status of the economy for a lot of the world making it financially infeasible for a lot of people. While at the same time there has also been a general shift away from the cultral norm of everyone must have kids
